Google launches Intrusion Logging — new logs for investigating spyware attacks on Android

Colleagues, please note: in cybersecurity Google has introduced Intrusion Logging — an optional feature within Advanced Protection Mode.
What it does:
• Collects encrypted logs daily and uploads them to the user’s Google account.
• Records unlocks, app installs/removals, connections to servers and ADB, and attempts to delete logs.
• Only the user can access the logs; Amnesty helped develop the feature.
Why it matters: it helps preserve evidence during spyware attacks and streamlines researchers’ work.
Is this sufficient to protect activists and journalists?
