Google launches enterprise agents platform — a bet on IT and security

Friends, a quick AI update: at Google Cloud Next, Google unveiled the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform—a tool for building and managing agents at scale.

The platform is aimed at IT; business units are offered the Gemini Enterprise app or agents deployed by IT. Agents automate meetings, trigger-based processes, routine tasks and file editing. Supported models include Google’s Gemini and Nano Banana 2, and Anthropic (including Opus 4.7), providing options by capability and cost.
